I really want to try and make an effort to post here more often. I know I always say that, and then I never do. I promise to TRY. So to start off, I want to show off my son Gabriel. He got a bike for his 5th birthday and today we went out and started learning how to ride. And here he is!! Isn't he darling?? He has his moments, but today I was super proud of him!! Those training wheels make him nervous but he did a good job on our back patio. Tomorrow, we go to the front!!! Have a wonderful day everyone, and thanks for viewing my blog!!!! Well, now that I have a very few minutes, I will sit here and post!!! As you can see, none of my previous projects were ever put on here. Mainly because they never got done. We moved to Texas, and I went back to work full time, and never had the time. I worked full -time, still came home and cooked dinner, fed the kids, got the wife out the door for school and just didn't have the energy to try and do it. Then I took some of my scrapbooking to work, and it STILL sat there. :0( Then I am sad to say I got sick again.On November 11, 2011 about 2 weeks before my 1 yr cancerversary,  I had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance. We were told that I had a tumor on my brain. It was the same strain of cancer, but it had metastisized to my brain. I had been sick pretty bad for about 2 weeks, couldnt get out of bed, couldnt use my left side very well. Had been having terrible headaches for awhile that NO medicine could make it go away and STAY away. Guess it wasn't really a he...

So I set out this year to make Gabriels 3rd birthday invitation. Granted I have not scrapped like I have wanted to, but I did not see the sense in buying cheesy little invites, when I could, theoretically make them myself. So I did.  And I am quite proud of my results!!! So my first craft to share with you is not the ABC book after all, but the invitation!!!  His actual birthday is April 13th, but we are celebrating it April 9th.  I cannot believe how he big he is getting!!! My next challenge? REBEKAH wants a BYU birthday, so I get to figure out how to do those now!!!!! Ay yi yi!!!!! See ya on the next post!!!!

I can honestly say, I feel more like myself every single day that goes by. I have even begun perusing my scrapping tools and so on to see where I want to start off first. For Christmas 2010 I got The Cinch binding machine. I have looked at it off and on, but never really considered buying it for myself, so imagine my surprise when I got it!!  It is still in the box, but as the next few days roll by, it's going to come out and be used. My first project that I am going to share on here,  is going to be an ABC book I will make for Gabriel with The Cinch. It's going to be 8x8 sized ( as I couldn't find anything any smaller) and quite possibly,I will also be using Celina's YourStory to laminate the pages. We all know how 2 going 3 year olds can be on book pages....  I chose this project to start with in general so I can practice with The Cinch. Also because there are unlimited things I can make with the Cinch, so I'd rather practice on something that can be done an...

Is simply to have a lot of photographs!! And what I DO with those photographs is put them into a scrapbook!  And that is what this blog is going to be about. My scrapbooking and my creative ideas, with photos included. I did have a blog before, but as most of my friends know, then I got sick, had to do a little battle with bad nasty cancer, but chemo is over, and life goes on, so it's time to get back to being creative!!!
