The Cutest Little Trailer in Pikeville,NC

Everyone knows I love to take pictures. After moving to NC I decided I would find ways to take pictures of everything. On the way into town one day, I noticed this little trailer on the side of the road, all set up to be lived in, and actually, lived in. I told myself 100 times or more, I need to go take a picture, so I need to ask the owner. I saw her a few times outside but never had the time to stop and ask until last week. I stopped and explained who I was and what I do and asked her permission. I also told her if I entered it into a contest and won, I would share the payout with her. She said sure! But she warned me that she might be moving to the coast soon. I made sure to go back a couple of days later and take the pictures. It was so much fun!!!!! So here they are!!!!!

A New Year and New Opportunities

I can honestly say, I feel more like myself every single day that goes by. I have even begun perusing my scrapping tools and so on to see where I want to start off first. For Christmas 2010 I got The Cinch binding machine. I have looked at it off and on, but never really considered buying it for myself, so imagine my surprise when I got it!!  It is still in the box, but as the next few days roll by, it's going to come out and be used. My first project that I am going to share on here,  is going to be an ABC book I will make for Gabriel with The Cinch. It's going to be 8x8 sized ( as I couldn't find anything any smaller) and quite possibly,I will also be using Celina's YourStory to laminate the pages. We all know how 2 going 3 year olds can be on book pages....  I chose this project to start with in general so I can practice with The Cinch. Also because there are unlimited things I can make with the Cinch, so I'd rather practice on something that can be done an...

Time for a new job or 2?

So it has come to pass that after 7 years Social Security has decided my health is good enough to go back to work. I find this funny because it was never my health in the first place. It was an evil brain tumor. So I appealed, joined up with Ticket to work and now I am trying to sell for Amazon too, to make a little extra cash. Just waiting on the final answer. So I am trying to decide to use blogger or use wix. If I use this, I can do it myself. If I use Wix, I need help. I can do this and work, because my hours will be set and I can work here on the blog when I am not working there on their site. (I will be working from home) Because of the program, for 9 months, I can earn whatever I want with no penalties. I do miss working, but I worry about lots of things that are involved with going back to work.
