I have to tell you, I love reading books. All kinds of books. But every once in awhile, there is THE book. Yes, that book you start to read and three hours later (or longer) you have to force yourself to put it down? Yeah that one. This book I just read "Born to Run, is just that. It follows the heartwrenching story of a young woman tossed around in foster care who makes that one mistake and thinks she's going to suffer forever. Until.... she finds that one home and that one desire to keep her going. A New Year and New Opportunities

I can honestly say, I feel more like myself every single day that goes by. I have even begun perusing my scrapping tools and so on to see where I want to start off first. For Christmas 2010 I got The Cinch binding machine. I have looked at it off and on, but never really considered buying it for myself, so imagine my surprise when I got it!!  It is still in the box, but as the next few days roll by, it's going to come out and be used. My first project that I am going to share on here,  is going to be an ABC book I will make for Gabriel with The Cinch. It's going to be 8x8 sized ( as I couldn't find anything any smaller) and quite possibly,I will also be using Celina's YourStory to laminate the pages. We all know how 2 going 3 year olds can be on book pages....  I chose this project to start with in general so I can practice with The Cinch. Also because there are unlimited things I can make with the Cinch, so I'd rather practice on something that can be done an...

Time for a new job or 2?

So it has come to pass that after 7 years Social Security has decided my health is good enough to go back to work. I find this funny because it was never my health in the first place. It was an evil brain tumor. So I appealed, joined up with Ticket to work and now I am trying to sell for Amazon too, to make a little extra cash. Just waiting on the final answer. So I am trying to decide to use blogger or use wix. If I use this, I can do it myself. If I use Wix, I need help. I can do this and work, because my hours will be set and I can work here on the blog when I am not working there on their site. (I will be working from home) Because of the program, for 9 months, I can earn whatever I want with no penalties. I do miss working, but I worry about lots of things that are involved with going back to work.
